Monty's is a New Zealand owned and operated business with a huge range of promotional clothing and corporate gifts. We have a variety of apparel from hats to jackets and promotional items such as pens and bags, in fact anything that we can put your logo on.
By placing your company name on anything from a t-shirt to a cap, a jacket to a golf ball, you are keeping your name in front of your customer both during working and after hours.
What a great way to give a gift while creating a walking billboard that will stay around far longer than a printed advert that ends up in the recycle bin. Tell us what you're after and we'll be back in touch with ideas and prices very quickly.
Our company motto is Fast, Friendly & Efficient Service and the Monty's vans are out and about all over the country so drop us a line and tell us where and when you saw them and we will send you a gift.

ABOUT MONTY'S
Just where did the name Monty's come from?
The business has been named in honour of a couple of very special people who lived their lives to the full, never letting anything get in the way of their dreams. It is with this spirit, determination and motivation that we strive for excellence in all that we do.
Here are a couple of articles we've had published:
The Monty's Team
Louise Allnutt started Monty's of Torbay in July 1999 and built the business steadily over the next 3 years while juggling a new baby and a household full of animals. By July 2003 we'd grown heaps and needed a name that reflected what we did a bit better as we'd had people guessing that we operated anything from a restaurant to a strip club! Monty's Promotions was created in 2003 and as there were only a few promo companies at the time with a decent web presence and even fewer who operated as more than a one man band, we grew rapidly. Most of our clients couldn't believe that we actually replied to emails within a few hours as the norm back then from our competitors was 2-3 days if at all. Louise can be found in the office most days and handling anything that needs to be done and will be your point of contact for indent orders and any artwork that needs to be tweaked. She goes to trade show in Asia to ensure that you have the latest promotional products at your finger tips when looking for something new and different each year.
After much negotiating with Louise's husband, Deano Allnutt finally jumped ship as a sales consultant at his father's business "Nutex Wholesalers" to join the Monty's sales team in Nov 04. She had to throw in Sky TV as the final deal breaker! Deano's well known in the textile industry and has a vast knowledge of fabric which is a huge advantage to our clients when they need to select clothing for certain working conditions. He has a great manner with our clients and will go out of his way to ensure that you are 100% happy with your order every time. He is VERY passionate about his rugby and holds manager / coach / technical advisory positions for a number of teams from Club rugby to North Harbour right through to NZ Barbarians. His grade of choice is Under 85kg which for those who haven't watched it, is a very fast grade which generally has fewer injuries given the weight restrictions placed on the players. Deano is on the road throughout the week visiting clients, picking up stock and ensuring that the right gear goes to the right place and has the right logo placed on it. If you spot him in his branded van, let us know where and when and we'll send you a spotter's prize. On days when the people mover isn't big enough for the job, you'll see him trucking along in the Monty's Camper Van. We've branded that too as it's not the fastest beast out there and we figured we'd give you something to read if you're stuck behind us on a mountain pass!
Shelley joined the team in Oct 03 and handles all our accounts as well as customer service when required. Her attention to detail is fantastic and we wouldn't dream of sending a newsletter out to our client base without her casting her eye over it first. She works Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday's as she also looks after the general office work for her husband's business "BAMP Electrical". She has a some at Rangitoto College and her daughter is a ballet and jazz teacher at L'Academie de Danse. Shelley is an avid bookworm and loves live theatre.
Corina joined Monty's in June 2007 and will generally be your first point of contact if you have any questions either via email or phone. She has a great knowledge of our thousands of different products and will choose the correct product to suit your needs and your budget. She's on the ball, literally, as she bounces around the office on huge blue Swiss Ball on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. She has a daughter at Westlake Girls High School, a son at Northcross Intermediate, 3 cats, 1 Bichon and builder husband who is forever renovating their home.
David joined us in October 2009 and is our secret weapon. He comes in on a Tuesday and keeps the database and website up to date, the showroom and storeroom tidy and basically does all the things that we run out of time to do when he's not around. We often pick his brain for "teen-appealing" promotions for our clients wanting to market to school and uni students. He attends Albany Junior High and plays tennis and loves his guitar and music.
Roxy was probably the first member of staff as she was carried around to various clients looking gorgeous and boosting sales while still in a front pack. She joined us as an official member of staff in June 06 when she turned 6 and has spent many hours over the past few years filing, counting stock and removing packaging so that we can print the products. Roxy's hobbies include tennis, brownies and anything secret agent / spy related. She's a fantastic older sister to Max who will no doubt join this page in more detail in years to come.
And last but not least, there's Monty. Truth be told she rocked up the week we started Monty's of Torbay so was named after the business and not the other way around. She takes her role of office cat very seriously and has no doubt clocked up more hours in the office than any of us. She's first in and last out and like her mother, often has to be reminded to knock off at the end of the day. As a stray cat, she likes to remind herself that she was once tough so given the choice of a nice comfy polar fleece blanket in the office and a pile of papers with a calculator and stapler piled on top.... she'll go for the latter every time.
We look forward to working with you.
